Reading the Bible raises a question in religious and non-religious people about what God's gender is. The various Bible versions almost invariably represent God as a male. Some Bible versions show God as a neutral gender or with no gender at all. Practically no versions show God as a female. But why is it so important to know God's gender? What can we learn from it?
We could learn essential information about God if we could determine God's gender.
If God is male (or female):
In this case, in all likelihood, God is the result of biological evolution. If we would specify a gender for God, it is only logical if another gender type exists too. And this is an exact representation of biological evolution. The evolution sped up on Earth since the two genders came to exist, which ultimately concluded to the development of the human. If God has a gender, then it is logical to conclude that God came to be through natural reproduction. Then, it is not likely (but still possible) that He is the “unique God". It is more likely that more members of God's race exist. He is a member of a more advanced civilization than ours.
If God has no gender:
In this case, God could still be the product of biological evolution, since there are species on Earth that reproduce asexually. But it is more likely that God is a “product” of a non-biological evolution. In this case, God could be the big "GOD" who created the universe. In this case, we can only know as much about God as God tells about itself. In this case, its existence is not connected or dependent on our world either.
However, there remains one more option that allows God not to have gender. It could be that another evolution-based intelligent lifeform created God through a non-evolution based process. By knowing the secret of what is a mind and intelligence, this species could have created a non-evolution based intelligence, a kind that could live forever. They could create "God."
This is why it would be essential to know God's gender.
